tinyMD is designed to process your documents in your browser. Markdown content, uploaded files, and conversions are handled locally on your device for most tools.

What data we collect

• Basic anonymous traffic analytics (if enabled) such as page views and referrers.
• No account data because tinyMD does not require sign-up.
• No intentional storage of uploaded document contents on tinyMD servers.

Technical transparency

• Markdown parsing and rendering run client-side with browser JavaScript.
• Export generation (PDF/DOCX/EPUB) runs in-browser via front-end libraries.
• Service worker caching is used only to improve loading speed and offline usage.

Your controls

• Close the tab to clear in-memory documents.
• Use private/incognito mode when handling sensitive material.
• Disable analytics and cookies via browser settings/extensions if preferred.
